Introduction

We have studied the Novel, "Night" by Elie Wiesel and I have found this book very inspirational. It has taught me how important things are before they are gone.

About the Author

Elie Wiesel was born in the town of Signet in Transylvania. He was still a teenager when he was taken from his home to the Aushchwitz concentration camp and then to Buchenwald. His memoirs of that experience are unforgettably recorded in Night. Elie Wiesel is Andrew Mellon Professor in the Humanities at Boston University and founding chairman of the United States Holocaust Memorial Council.
